Edward J. "Ned" Souders Jr.

Edward "Ned" J. Souders, Jr., 66, of York, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 in his residence. He was the husband of Judy H. (Hansen) Souders. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Edward "Ned" J. Souders Sr. and the grandson of the late Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Charles E. Roth. Ned was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School in 1967 and the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology where he earned his Auto-mechanic Degree in 1970. He was a member of Zion U.C.C. in Marietta and was a life member of the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company #1. He was employed as an auto mechanic most of his life, working for Reedman's in Langhorne and I.M. Jarrett and Son in Hatboro from where he retired. In addition to his wife, Ned is survived by: One Son: Edward "Ned " J. Souders, III of York; Two Daughters: Michele wife of Robert Waggoner of Jacksonville, NC and Catherine Souders of Winter Park, FL; Four Grandchildren: JT, Michael, Robbie and Caroline; Two Brothers: Rev.
