Betty (Berry) Spatz, 88, of Limekiln, PA, passed away, Thursday, June 14, 2018 in her home. Her husband, Reginald R. Spatz, died on July 9, 2012. They celebrated 61 years of marriage. Ecclesiastes 3 - There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.
Born in Spring City, PA, she was a daughter of the late Forrest and Hildegard (Limmer) Berry. She was predeceased by a brother Bruce and is survived by a sister, Charlotte Wade, Wilmington, DE.
Betty graduated from Kutztown High School and McCann School of Business and was a member of the Schwarzwald United Church of Christ, Schwarzwald Women’s Guild, St. Lawrence Women’s Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed traveling and being a stay at home mom. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, quilting, researching genealogy and oil painting which became a passion.
She is survived by a daughter Bonnie, wife of John F. “Chip” Lutz, Exeter Township; grandchildren, Jordan Lutz, Florence, SC, Jenna, wife of Curt Weathers, El Dorado Hill, CA; and great-grandchildren Alyssa, Sophie and Nora.
