Charles R. Stabolepszy, 84, of Grill died mercifully at peace with his wife and daughter by his side, September 30th, at Mifflin Center. Born on October 22, 1932, he was the son of the late Chester Stabolepszy and Elva Glass Folk.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandra Herb Stabolepszy and four children, Wendy, wife of Stephen Bell, Lancaster, PA, Michael, husband of Lory Stimson, VA, Jeffrey, husband of Kristin Mateer, Grill and Charles A. Stabolepszy, husband of Judy Shafer, VT. Other survivors include a stepbrother, Allen J. Golf, Newmanstown, PA and his eight beloved grandchildren: Timothy, Kerri, Christopher, Cameron, Chase, Hank, Tedd and Karlee. He was employed as a bricklayer for 35 plus years and a member of BAC Local 21. Charles used his craft on his home and those of his family, friends and neighbors. He enjoyed trap shooting and hunting and flounder fishing with his sons and grandsons and spending time at “The Bayhouse” in Strathmere, NJ.
