Carol J. Stricker (Snyder)

Carol J. (Snyder) Stricker, 82, of Reading, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, in Berkshire Center. She was the wife of the late Jack R. Stricker, who passed away September 2, 1989. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Jeanne (Schnable) Snyder. Carol graduated from Reading High School in 1956. She worked in the customer service department at Graco Elverson for 26 years until retiring in 2003.

Carol is survived by her children; Gregory A. Stricker, of Exeter Twp., Cheryl A. Stricker, of Columbia, MD, and Janelle M. Merklinger, wife of Henry, of Denver, PA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and her sister Edwina Andrusiak. She was predeceased by her son, Jack R. Stricker Jr., on July 29, 2007, daughter, Cathy L. Fox, on December 14, 2020, and grandson, Frank Fox, on June 15, 2012.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Robeson Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3520 Plow Rd. Mohnton, PA 19540.
