Cynthia Styer

Cynthia Styer, 70, of St. Lawrence, formerly of Stony Creek Mills, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of James D. Styer, with whom she recently shared 50 years of marriage. James and Cindy were married September 16, 1967, at St. Catharine of Siena in Mt. Penn. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Paul L. and Anna (Buzzanca) Kline. She was a 1966 graduate of Mt. Penn High School. Cindy loved gardening, reading and was a very caring person. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed margaritas poolside. Traveling and peanut butter and chocolate were also some of her favorite things. In addition to her husband, Cynthia is survived by one son Andrew husband of Beth of Oley and one daughter Paula Styer of Detroit, MI; grandsons Evan, Luke, Aiden Tobias and Nathan; one brother Paul K. Kline; and a very special friend Donna Uliasz. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you plant something in your garden in memory of Cynthia.
