Ronald N. Swavely, 79, of Exeter Township, passed away on Wednesday March 31, 2021, in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Youse) Swavely who passed away on March 18, 2020. Born in Reading, Pa he was the son of the late Norman M. and Estella V. (Shurr) Swavely. Ronald went to Exeter High School and was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church. He worked as a machine operator for St. Lawrence Carbonizing Co. for 42 years, retiring in 2005. Ron enjoyed reading the Bible and watching Nascar.
Ron is survived by his daughter Karen L. Swavely, and his two brothers David L. husband of Dianne of Woodbridge, VA, and Barry E. husband of Eileen of Lancaster. He was pre deceased by his sister in law Suzanne M. Palko.
A private graveside service will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
