Charlotte Thomas

Charlotte M. Thomas, 96, of Oley, passed away Saturday January 13, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John P. Thomas who passed in 2014, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Born in Weyers Cave, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Arlene M. (Cline) Reed. Charlotte was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church. Charlotte's pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them and was faithful at attending their sporting, school and social events over the past years. Her life revolved around her family. Charlotte is survived by one son James J. husband of Susan M. Thomas of Laureldale and one daughter Stephanie P. wife of Jeffrey A. Warmkessel with whom she resided; four grandchildren Rachael wife of Carlos Munoz, Rebekkah wife of Adam Wolfe, Wade and Valerie Warmkessel; and two sisters Geraldine Weyandt and Marge Movita Blum. She was predeceased by Reed brothers Earl, Benjamin Jr., David, Harry, Odie, Paul, Everette, John, James, Carson; and sisters Evelyn Schwartz and Phyllis Kehres. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 9:00 am 10:00 am with services beginning at 10:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading.
