Linda J. Trainer (Kerper)

Linda J. (Kerper) Trainer, 71, of West Lawn, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, in Reading Hospital Medical Center. She was the wife of David L. Trainer. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Verna (Hallacher) Kerper. Linda graduated from Reading High School in 1965. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Reading, where she was the treasurer for 48 years until her retirement. In addition to her husband, David, Linda is survived by her daughters Marcy E. Milam wife of Andrew, Kristin L. Stockbower wife of Tjay, both of Sinking Spring; and grandchildren Zachary Neuin and Ava Milam. She is predeceased by her sister Beverly Smith. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Reading. An additional visitation will also be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1559 Perkiomen Ave., Reading. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1559 Perkiomen Ave, Reading, PA 19602.
