Frances E. Troxel

Frances E. Troxel, 95, formerly of St.Lawrence, passed away November 26, 2012 in the Berkshire Center. She was the widow of Thomas A. Troxel who passed away in 2004. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Horace D. and Helen (Welliver) Good. Frances was a graduate of Reading High School in 1935 and was a member of Schwarzwald U.C.C. -Jacksonwald where she was the former secretary of their Women’s Guild. She was also a Campfire Leader and was a member of the the Mt. Penn Friends of the Reading Hospital and at one time served as their Sunshine Lady. Frances was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills and then the Reading Hospital in the Dietary Department, retiring in 1993. Survivors include: One Son: Richard T. husband of Paula Troxel of Ladysmith, VA; One Daughter: Lois D. (Troxel) wife of Andrew London of Harrisburg; Four Grandchildren: David R. Trox el, Debra L. Raper, Donna M. Dubois and Andrew London, Jr.; Seven Great-Grandchildren: Kristina M., Megan E., Ashley, Kristin, Thomas, Christopher and Joshua. She was pre-deceased by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 7 at 11:30 A.M. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. Mount Penn. Friends may callfrom 10:30-11:30 A.M.
