Robert W. Turner

Robert W. Turner, 81, of Exeter Twp. passed away August 6th, 2013 in Kindred Care of Wyomissing. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late William H. and Mildred M. (Berg) Turner. He was a 1949 graduate of Central Catholic HS and attended Philadelphia Textile Institute. Mr. Turner was a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War and was the owner of Turner Textiles at 4th and Franklin Sts. for 40 years until October of 2012. He is survived by daughters Laura L. Turner of Exeter Twp. and Robin L. Turner fiancee of Cory Chapman of Brewster, MA. Sisters Dolores widow of Andrew C. Klein, Jr. of Lower Alsace Twp. and Claire wife of Dr. Merle Demmy of Bernville. Services from the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., Mt. Penn on Saturday at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from10:00 amto11:00 am. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League-POBox 69, Mohnton, PA 19540
