Bruce F. Unger, 66, of Exeter Township, passed away March 18th, 2014 in his residence. He was the husband of Margaret L. “Peggy” (Moore) Unger. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harold F. and Evelyn A. (Albrecht) Unger. He was a member of the Cocalico Propbusters, Inc. flying radio controlled airplanes and raced hobby cars in his younger years; a member of Pagoda Motorcycle Club in the 80′s and a member of Gold Star racing in the 90′s. Bruce had a love of Civil War history and visited Gettysburg often. Bruce was a welder for the former Birdsboro Steel Corp. and then for Dana Corp. until retiring. In addition to his wife, Bruce is survived by One Daughter: Sherry L. Unger companion of Kevin Tolland of Oley; Grandchildren: Megan A. and Tim N. Puckett; One Brother: Barry L. Unger husband of Donna of Reading and One Sister: Deborah wife of Dr. Donald Carman of Caroll Co., MD. The family will receive friends and relatives from 1:30-2:00 P.M. with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. Mt. Penn.
