Alice M. Van Leer (Hammer)

In loving memory of Alice M. Van Leer (Hammer), 86, of Mohnton, who went to Heaven on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Leaving behind her three children, Michael R. Van Leer, of Sharon, daughters Catherine M. Cammarano (Dominic) of Mohnton and Patricia A. Silbert (Gary) of Pittsburgh and 6 grandchildren, Dominic J. Cammarano, Jr. (DJ), Nina E. Cammarano, Caitlin A. Cammarano, Christopher M. Cammarano, Bailey C. Silbert, Mallory E. Silbert and Max, her beloved Golden Retriever who served as her trusted and loving companion.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Regis (Bud) Hammer and Alice H. Spath (Ginnevan). Alice is preceded in death by two siblings, her brother Terrance Hammer and the late Richard Hammer. Alice was a graduate of St. Rosalia’s High School in Greenfield, PA, and a very enthusiastic sports fan.
A private service will be celebrated at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
