Stanley J. Watkins

Stanley J. Watkins, 84, of Crestwood, passed away Thursday, January 24th, 2013 in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Jacqueline F. (Zwoyer) Watkins. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was a son of the late Harry and Hilde (Bergen) Watkins. Stanley was a graduate of Olney High School and Temple University with a degree in journalism. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Stanley was a reporter for the Reading Eagle Company and then was employed by Telepublications until his retirement. In addition to his wife, Stanley is survived by: One Son: Sean M. Watkins husband of Joanne of Crestwood; Four Grandchildren: Samantha, Debra, Bobby and Scott (Pre-Deceased); Seven Great-Grandchildren: Cora Lynn, Haley, Brandon, Bobby Lee, Brooke, Brittany and Scott, Jr. Services and Interment private at the convenience of the family.
