Arlene Wegman

Arlene R. Wegman, 98, of Exeter Township, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the widow of Myron Wegman who passed away in 1988. Born in Exeter Township, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Lizzie (Hartman) Redcay. Arlene was a graduate of Oley Valley High School in 1936 and was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy wife of George Fies of Exeter Township and Elaine Wegman partner of William Angstadt of Oley; four grandchildren, Bert Dutt partner of Andrea Wolfe, Kelli wife of Chris Arnout, Kimberly Fies and Joel Fies. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Alberta Buchanan. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606.
