Grace E. Weidenheimer, 94, of Kenhorst, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 in her residence. She was the widow of James C. Weidenheimer who passed away August 8, 1979. Born on October 21, 1920, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lizzie (Drumheller) Lutz. She spent her early years working in a box factory. Upon marrying Jim, she became a homemaker and together they raised their three children. Grace was a life member of Kenhorst Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and 18th Ward Democratic Club. Mom liked to laugh and have fun and spend time with young people. She especially liked listening to Phillies baseball, country music, WEEU, TV game shows, and talking with her friends at Kenhorst Fire Company. She looked forward to Saturday shopping trips. She enjoyed baking, dancing, playing cards, board games and reading. Mom was a strong and feisty lady who loved her family and took pride in her home. She remained independent managing on her own even after losing her sight until just the last few months of her life. She is survived by her children, Rita M. wife of Carl E. Graczyk, Harry C. Weidenheimer and Roger I. Weidenheimer; Grandchildren, Scott A. Weidenheimer, Karen L. Weidenheimer and John O. Graczyk. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Howard and Irvin and Daughter-In-Law, Suzanne M. (Schlener), wife of Harry C. Weidenheimer. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 9:00-10:00 A.M. with services beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 29, 2015 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn.
