Clarence E. Wentzel, 89, formerly of Exeter Township and a guest at the Berkshire Center passed away on Monday, October 8 in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the widower of Lillian M. (Hafer) Wentzel who passed away on September 4, 2008. Born in Exeter Township, he was the son of the late John and Ida (Ganter) Wentzel. Clarence was a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II. He was employed as a grinder at Car-Tech for 36 years until his retirement. Clarence was a member of Friedens U.C.C.–Oley and the Pikeville Sportsmans Club. He loved gardening, hunting and being outdoors, playing cards and spending time with his family. Clarence is survived by: One Son: Darrell L. Wentzel of Exeter Township and One Daughter: Doreen L. wife of Dennis G. Hoyer of Oley. He loved dearly his three granddaughters: Kristin Reeser, Jamie Freiburghouse and Kelly Wen tzel and his great-granddaughter Olivia Reeser. He was predeceased by four sisters and one brother. Funeral Services will be held in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., Mount Penn on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
