Doris Wentzel

Doris L. Wentzel, 89, formerly of St. Lawrence, passed away, Sunday, December 27th, 2015 in the Berkshire Center Exeter Township . She was the widow of Robert H. Wentzel . Born in Reading PA , she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Leinbach) Koch. Doris was a member of Community U.C.C in St. Lawrence as well as the St. Lawrence Women's Club. She is survived by two sons: Larry R. Wentzel husband of Michele, Richard S. Wentzel fiancé of Laurie A. Clemmer and daughter Suzanne wife of Melvin Haas all of Exeter Township. Doris is also survived by four grandchildren and three sisters F. Louise widow of Robert Heilman, Jane K. wife of Larry Ahrens and Janet L. wife of Barry Bixler all of St. Lawrence. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Samuel Koch, Jr. husband of Betty Koch, of Exeter Township. Visitation with family and friends will be held today from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with services beginning at 10:30 am in the Community U.C.C. 3330 St. Lawrence Ave, Reading 19606. Interment in Oley Church Cemetery, Spangsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the memorial fund at Community U.C.C at the above address . Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
