Doris M. Whitman (Keller)

Doris M. (Keller) Whitman, 72, of Reading, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021, at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late William Whitman. Born in West Reading, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Harry Keller and Gloria (Wolfe) Kondisko. She graduated from Muhlenberg High School and Empire Beauty School. Doris was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church and was very active in the Bible Study. Doris worked for Western Electric for 26 years until she retired in 1998, she was also a representative and union official for IBEW Local 1898.

Doris is survived by nieces Janelle Ianuzzo, Jessica and Ashley Keller; great nephew Dominic Ianuzzo, her beloved grandson Kenneth Whitman, beloved Auntie Dos Forry and a few dear cousins and very good friends. She is predeceased by her Uncle William Forry, step-sons Kenneth and Donald Whitman; brother John Ianuzzo; and sister Robin Keller.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday February 3, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alsace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund
