Ruth Ann Wiegand

Ruth Ann Wiegand, 80, a resident of Phoebe Berks, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 in Wellsboro, PA. She was the widow of John Wiegand. Born in Cocolamus, Juniata County, PA, she was a daughter of the late George G. Fasic and Esther (Edwards) Walley. She was a graduate of Mount Penn High School and Kutztown University. Ruth Ann was a teacher and librarian in Elementary Education in Doylestown until her retirement. She really enjoyed Golf and loved her summer home in the Adirondacks. Ruth Ann loved to volunteer and loved books. She was very involved in the library at Phoebe Berks and the Wernersville Library. She also loved games including bridge and Mahjong. She is survived by One Brother: George Fasic husband of Nancy of West Chester, her nieces and nephews Barry, Barbara Linda, Kevin and Karen. She was pre-deceased by a sister Doris L. Miller. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Chapel at Phoebe Berks Village, Wernersville. Inurment will be private at the convenience of the family.
