William "Billy" George Beard

William "Billy" George Beard, 26, of Exeter Township, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Born in Norristown, PA, he was the son of George R. and Susan Marie (Weber) Beard. Billy graduated from Malvern Preparatory School and attended Penn State University. He was working as a mason's apprentice with the Local 5 Union. Billy was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

Billy had a free spirit with a kind soul which only a few got to see. What everyone did see on the outside was his charismatic personality. He had passion for traveling and the culinary arts with a degree from the International Culinary School of New York. Billy was an avid swimmer throughout his school years which led him to Olympic trials. His free spirit led him to love body art where he had displayed his memories and passions. Anyone who was lucky enough to truly know Billy, knew that a phone call from him would many times lead to a philosophical discussion of different life topics as he was very passionate about philosophy and the meaning of life.

In addition to his parents, George and Susan, Billy is survived by his brother Michael Beard, and his uncles Todd Weber and David Weber.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with services beginning at 12:00 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to NAMI Berks County PA, 640 Walnut Street Second Floor, Reading PA 19601.
