Stratton G. Yatron

Stratton G. Yatron, 81 of Reading passed away March 18th, 2013 in Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Molly N. (Prahalis) Yatron who were married on October 11, 1953. Born in Reading he was a son of the late George H. and Theano (Lazos) Yatron. Stratton was a Graduate of Reading High School and served in the United States Navy Reserve during the Korean War. He worked for Yatron’s Ice Cream Factory, Lehigh Valley Dairies, Gilberts Engineering and was lastly a purchasing agent for AT&T until his retirement in 1996. Stratton was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church. He is survived by: One Sister: Katherine Kubacki of Reading and
many Nieces and Nephews. Stratton is pre-deceased by a son: Dr. Nicholas S. Yatron who passed away July 1, 1990 and one brother: Congressman Gus Yatron who passed away March 13, 2003. Services will be held at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd. Reading, PA 19611 Tuesday March 26 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
