Marie E. Zechman

Marie E. Zechman, 93, formerly of Reiffton, passed away Tuesday, February 24th, 2014 in the Keystone Villa at Douglassville. She was the widow of Dr. John M. Zechman who passed away October 20, 2010. Born in Exeter Township, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Nora (Brady) Quinter. Marie was a graduate of Mount Penn High School in 1939 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church-Reading. She is survived by: Two Sons: Dr. John S. Zechman husband of Sandra of Reiffton and Dr. James M. Zechman husband of Dr. Ellen Huffman-Zechman of New Bern, NC; Six Grandchildren: Jennifer, John, Zachary, Zane, Zebulun and Ryan. She was pre-deceased by a her brothers Matthew C., Robert H., Raymond Quinter and a sister Dorothy Quinter. Services will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. Mount Penn. Friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
