Gerald Ray Zerbe

Gerald Ray Zerbe, 87, of Limekiln, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in his home. He was the significant other of Gary Kramer for 52 years. Born in Mohnton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Elmer and Mabel (Smith) Zerbe. Ray graduated from Reading High School where he played basketball. Ray worked at Walt Disney World for 30 years as a sous chef at various locations until his retirement at the age of 65. He moved back to Reading in 2000. He enjoyed gardening, working around the farm, and tending to the horses.

Ray is survived by his brother Alton Zerbe, of Virginia Beach, VA. He was predeceased by his siblings Donald and Shirley.
