Dorcas L. Zilles (Ludwig)

Dorcas A. (Ludwig) Zilles, 91, of Reading, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Frank Zilles, who passed away in 1985. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Estella (Gable) Ludwig. Dorcas was a 1947 graduate of Mount Penn High School and enjoyed bingo, the Philadelphia Phillies and spending time with her family. She worked at AT&T for over 30 years, retiring in 1987 and then worked at St. Joseph Medical Center as a telephone operator.

Dorcas is survived by her children: Lynn wife of John Wiggins, Austin, TX, Alice wife of Nicholas Karetas, Lititz, Scott Zilles husband of Lynette, Ecuador, Donna wife of Jeffrey Eddington, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Terri wife of Ricky Snook, Bern Township; 15 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter, Diane Caldwell, grandson Bryan Homan, and her brothers and sisters.
